Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah biaya perjalanan ke obyek wisata Way Kambas, biaya waktu, pendapatan individu, tingkat pendidikan dan waktu luang mempengaruhi jumlah permintaan kunjungan wisata ke Taman Nasional Way Kambas, Kabupaten Lampung Timur dengan menggunakan metode biaya perjalanan (Travel Cost Method).
Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan OLS, untuk menduga kesediaan membayar dan analisis biaya perjalanan (Travel Cost Analysis) dalam menghitung manfaat Wisata Taman Nasional Way Kambas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima variabel berpengaruh terhadap jumlah permintaan pariwisata ke Taman Nasional Way Kambas yaitu biaya perjalanan, biaya waktu, pendapatan individu, pendidikan dan waktu luang.
Distribusi manfaat biaya perjalanan terdiri dari biaya transportasi (48,67%), biaya akomodasi (2,1%), biaya konsumsi (27,6%), biaya sewa (7,79%), biaya tiket masuk (8,04%) dan biaya dokumentasi (5,81%). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan obyek wisata Taman Nasional Way Kambas perlu ditingkatkan lagi selain dalam pengelolaan juga dalam pengoptimalan potensi yang dimiliki.

Way Kambas National Park is one of the tourist destinations in Lampung province that has the beauty of natural resources and endangered fauna species diversity. It also has the highest number of visitors compared to other conservation areas. The objective of this study was to determine whether the travel cost to Way Kambas, time cost, individual income, educational level and leisure excursions affect the number of visit to the Way Kambas National Park in East Lampung regency by using the travel cost method.
The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression using OLS, to estimate willingness to pay and travel expenses (Travel Cost Analysis) in calculating the benefits of Way Kambas National Park. The results showed that five variables affect the amount of tourism demand to the Way Kambas National Park. The variables are the cost of travel, time costs, individual income, education level and leisure time.
Distribution of travel costs benefits consist of transportation costs (48.67%), accommodation costs (2.1%), the cost of consumption (27.6%), rentals (7.79%), admission fee (8.04% ) and documentation fee (5.81%). The study recommends that the Way Kambas National Park need to be developed in terms of the management as well as in optimizing its potential.</description><identifier>https://lib.ui.ac.id/detail?id=20304489</identifier><recordID>20304489</recordID></dc>
