Informasi yang didapatkan dari para informan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan teori studi resepsi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman para anggota tari hip hop Monkiez tersebut terhadap konsep resistensi yang menjadi esensi munculnya kebudayaan hip hop serta esensi yang membuat kebudayaan ini tetap bertahan hingga kini. Pemahaman terhadap konsep resistensi yang didapatkan kemudian lebih jauh ditarik kepada praktik resistensi dalam keseharian para informan. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> This phenomenologist research try to explore hip hop dancing crew in Jakarta, Monkiez? meaning on resistance concept. The information which gets from those informants later being analyzed using reception study. It is done to know the deepness of Monkiez hip hop dancing crew members in interpreting the concept of resistance which became the essence of Hip Hop culture occurrence, and also the essence of its existence until nowadays. The resistance concept reception later being related with the resistance practice on informants? daily life.
