- <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Nyeri dan luka merupakan masalah yang sering di alami pasien kanker payudara, dimana luka ini menimbulkan malodour sehingga menurukan kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan nyeri dan malodour dengan stress pada pasien kanker payudara. Desain penelitian ini study cross-sectional dengan sampel 92 pasien, diambil di RSKD Jakarta dan RSAM Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa nyeri, malodour, jenis analgetik dan jenis balutan merupakan faktor yang berhubungan dengan stres. Malodour akan beresiko menyebabkan stres tinggi pada individu yang mengalami luka kanker sebesar 3.2 kali dari pada yang merasakan kurang bau (95% CI OR 1.04, 9.8) setelah dikontrol oleh jenis balutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pengkajian aspek psikososial pada pasien dengan luka kanker. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> Pain and wound are the common problems in breast cancer patients, the wound would cause malodour that the effect on poor quality of life. This research aimed to identify the correlation of pain and malodour related to stress in breast cancer patient. The research design used cross sectional study with 92 samples that recruting in RSKD Jakarta and RSAM Lampung. The conclusion of the research were pain, malodour, analgesic type and dressing type that was causing factor related to higher stress for person who had wound cancer 3.2 times more than who felt less scent (95% CI OR; 1,04;9.8) after controlled by dressing type. The research recomended the important of the aspect psichology assesment to person with wound care.
