- <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Penggunaan gambar penetapan lokasi dalam transaksi jual beli tanah di Kota Batam adalah salah satu fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat Kota Batam. Gambar Penetapan Lokasi merupakan dokumen tanah yang diterbitkan oleh Otorita Batam selaku pemegang hak pengelolaan setelah pemohon lahan melunasi Uang Wajib Tahunan Otorita (UWTO) untuk jangka waktu tertentu. Tesis ini membahas tentang Gambar Penetapan Lokasi merupakan salah satu syarat kepemilikan tanah di Kota Batam, kekuatan hukum gambar penetapan lokasi (PL) yang diterbitkan dalam menjamin kepemilikan atas tanah di Kota Batam dan penggunaan gambar penetapan lokasi (PL) ditinjau dengan peraturan peralihan hak atas tanah di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sistem penelitian hukum dengan metode pendekatan yuridis Normatif dengan tipologi eksplanatoris dan evaluatif <hr> <b>Abstract</b><br> The usage of Location Mapping Image for Land purchase transaction has been prevalent among Batam community. Location Mapping Image is a document published by Otorita Batam as the holder of Managing right after the applicant settled the UWTO Land taxes for the specified period of time. This thesis covers about the Mapping Image as one of the requirements to obtain the land, about the kekuatan hukum of location mapping published by local government in securing the land ownership in Batam, and about the usage of Location Mapping Image in the perspective of the regulation of land ownership transfer in Batam.
