- [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Tesis ini membahas perubahan karakteristik pengembangan Angkatan Laut Australia pada dua perode terakhir, yakni periode 1990-1999 dan 2000-2010.Peneilitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif-analitik.Hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran perubahan pengembangan Angkatan Laut Australia selama dua dekade terakhir.Perubahan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor utama, yakni perubahan geopolitik di kawasan Aisa Pasifik. dan keinginan Australia menjadi kekuatan laut regional (regional sea power). <hr> <b>Abstract</b><br> This thesis is going to discuss the changing characteristic of the development of Australian Navy in two latest period, namely 1990-2010. This research using quantitative method by descriptiveanalytical design.This research describesa changes in the development of the Australian Navy during the past two decades.
