- Skripsi ini membahas mengenai wacana Currywurst dalam Novel ?Die Entdeckung der Currywurst?, Artikel ?Die Vorbild-Politiker: Die Wurst und die Wähler?, dan Lagu ?Currywurst?. Skripsi ini menggunakan teori wacana Foucault dan konsep analisis wacana Sara Mills dalam menganalisis wacana-wacana yang dibentuk dari tema Currywurst. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Currywurst telah dibentuk menjadi wacana feminis dan wacana politis. Wacana feminis dalam Currywurst terlihat dari representasi gender yang digambarkan dalam novel. Wacana feminis tersebut dipahami sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap sejarah resmi Jerman yang sebagian besar tidak menampilkan peranan perempuan sesudah perang dan mempermasalahkan ?kepahlawanan? yang selalu dikaitkan dengan laki-laki. Sebagai wacana politis, Currywurst telah menjadi alat pencitraan politisi dan media kritik terkait kesejahteraan kaum buruh. Wacana Currywurst dan konteksnya memperlihatkan bahwa Currywurst telah menjadi media kritik terhadap suatu fenomena yang terjadi dalam masyarakat. Currywurst tidak hanya sebatas makanan khas Jerman, tetapi juga telah menjadi tema suatu wacana. <hr> <b>Abstract</b><br> This thesis examines Currywurst discourse which is embedded in the ?Die Entdeckung der Currywurst? novel, the ?Die-Politiker Vorbild: Die Wurst und die Wähler? article, and the ?Currywurst? song. This paper uses the discourse theory of Foucault and the concept of discourse analysis of Sara Mills to analyze discourses that are formed in Currywurst. This research proves that feminist discourse and political discourse could be formed in Currywurst. The feminist discourse in Currywurst is depicted by the gender representation described in the novel. Such feminist discourse is perceived as a form of protest against official German history most of which does not expose the role of women after war yet disputes men-related heroism. As a political discourse, Currywurst has become a tool of forming politician?s image and as a critic related to the prosperity of worker. Currywurst discourse and its context sign the role of Currywurst as a media to convey critic regarding social phenomenon. Eventually, Currywurst is not only the symbol of German?s culinary, but also becomes a theme of discourse.
