- [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Tujuh peptida ampifil berhasil disintesis dengan metode sintesis peptida fasa padat. Studi dengan AFM menunjukkan bahwa enam dari tujuh peptida ampifilik melakukan self-assembly dalam pelarut air membentuk struktur nanofiber. Meskipun memiliki muatan yang berbeda, kemampuan self-assembly peptida ampifilik hanya dipengaruhi oleh jenis linker dan panjang alkil. Peptida ampifilik memperlihatkan kemampuan sebagai material low molecular weight gelator (LMWG). Lima dari tujuh peptida ampifilik memiliki nilai minimum gelation concentration (MGC) kurang dari 1%(w/v). <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> Seven peptide amphiphiles were successfully synthesized using solid phase peptide synthesis method. AFM study showed that six out of seven peptide amphiphiles self-assembling into nanofibers structure. Even though peptide amphiphiles have different charge, self-assembly properties of peptide amphiphile depends only on linker type and alkyl chain length. Peptide amphiphiles also showed its capability as low molecular weight gelator (LMWG).
