Sartre terkenal akan pemikirannya mengenai eksistensi manusia yang mendahului esensinya. Penelitian ini melihat pemikiran Sartre mengenai eksistensi, esensi, dan kebebasan manusia yang disampaikan mclalui tindakan-tindakan para tokoh. 1 lasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sartre menggunakan tokoh-tokoh dalam drama ini untuk menyampaikan heberapa pemikirannya. Melalui tokoh Oreste, Sartre menyampaikan pemikirannya mengenai eire pour-soi, kebebasan, pilihan. dan tanggung jaw ah manusia. Oreste adalah manusia yang menyadari bahwa dirinya memiliki kebebasan dalam bertindak dan membangun sendiri esensinya.
......This thesis discusses the freedom of Oreste, the main character of Les ILlouches a drama written by Jean-Paul Sartre. Sartre is famous for his thoughts about human existence that precedes his essence. This study observes Sartre's thinking thought on the existence, essence, and the freedom of man by the actions of the characters. The results showed that Sartre uses the characters in this drama to convey his thoughts. Through the character of Oreste, Sartre conveys his thoughts on being_for-itself. freedom, choice and human responsibility.
