Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yuridis normative. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa film sebagai produk representasi budaya dilindungi oleh peraturan perundang-undangan begitu pula kepentingan pihak-pihak yang terkait didalamnya terutama kepentingan konsumen film. Sebagai upaya perlindungan konsumen terhadap dampak negatif film hadirlah Lembaga Sensor Film sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Undang-undang perfilman yang bertugas menyensor setiap film yang akan diedarkan ke masyarakat.
<hr>This Thesis discusses about the protection effort of Indonesian film consumer which is role by Lembaga Sensor Film reviewed from film law and consumer protection law, because all this time consumer often less consious of the existence of film?s negative effect that endanger the consumer. This research is a normative juridical research. Results of research conclude that film as a representation product of culture is protected by the law, as well as the interest of related parties especially film consumer?s interest. As a way to protect the consumer from the negative effects of film, there is Lembaga Sensor Film which is mandated in film law to censor every film that will be published to the society.</description><identifier>https://lib.ui.ac.id/detail?id=131036</identifier><recordID>131036</recordID></dc>
