  • PT Sempurnaindah Multinusantara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dan mengembangkan berbagai macam artikel kulit sintetis, salah satunya yaitu artikel oxy yang memiliki standar tebal 0,97 mm. Artikel oxy mengalami cacat tebal berkurang setelah proses emboss. Kecacatan disebabkan oleh jumlah penambahan blowing agent dan foaming agent tidak tepat, sehingga perlu dilakukan percobaan dalam skala laboratorium dengan tiga variasi jumlah blowing agent dan foaming agent. Formulasi satu merupakan formulasi standar artikel oxy dengan jumlah blowing agent sebanyak 3 phr serta foaming agent 2 phr. Hasil uji tebal menggunakan thickness gauge memperoleh hasil sebesar 0,91 mm. Formulasi dua blowing agent berjumlah 2,25 phr dan foaming agent sebanyak 1,5 phr menghasilkan hasil uji ketebalan 0,97 mm. Formulasi tiga blowing agent 3,75 phr dan foaming agent 2,5 phr menghasilkan ketebalan sebesar 1,16 mm. Hasil pengujian tebal yang paling sesuai standar artikel oxy yaitu formulasi dua 0,97 mm dengan jumlah blowing agent dan foaming agent yang paling sedikit dibandingkan formula satu dan tiga. Tebal tipis nya kulit sintetis dipengaruhi oleh jumlah blowing agent dan foaming agent. PT Sempurnaaindah Multinusantara is a company that manufactures and develops various types of synthetic leather article, including oxy articles that has a standard thickness of 0.97 mm. For oxy-article, thick defects are reduced after the emboss process. Inapropriate addition blowing and foaming agents caused the defects, therefore, laboratory-scale experiment with three variations should be conducted. Formulation 1 was the oxy standard article formulation with the number of blowing agent up to 3 phr, foaming agent 2 phr resulting 0,91 mm of the thickness testing. Formulation two, consisted of 2.25 phr blowing agents while foaming agent was 1.5 phr test resulting thickness 0,97 mm. Formulation three was consisted of 3.75 phr blowing agent, foaming agent 2.5 phr thickness test resulting of 1.16 mm. The appropriate formulation was given from formulation which has 0,97 mm thickest testing with the least amount of blowing agent and foaming agent. The thin and thickness of synthetic leather is influenced by the amount sy of blowing agent and foaming agent.
