  • Permasalahan yang dihadapi di PT Adi Satria Abadi adalah ketahanan gosok cat basah dan kering artikel sheep batting glove yang belum memenuhi standar customer. Pelaksanaan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketahanan gosok cat lapisan finishing untuk artikel sheep batting glove. Metode yang digunakan dibagi menjadi 2 perlakuan yaitu AB 1 menggunakan penambahan ammonia sebanyak 50 ml/l dan untuk AB 2 tanpa menggunakan ammonia. Pengujian dilakukan di Balai Besar Kulit, Karet, dan Plastik (BBKKP) menggunakan alat Crock meter sesuai dengan ISO 20433 : 2012. Hasil pengujian menunjukan kulit AB 1 memiliki ketahanan gosok cat basah 4/5 (Tidak Luntur), sedangkan ketahanan gosok cat kering dengan 4 (Sedikit Luntur). Hasil untuk kulit AB 2 memiliki ketahanan gosok cat basah sebesar 4 (Sedikit Luntur), sedangkan ketahanan gosok cat kering sebesar 3/4 (Luntur). Dapat diketahui bahwa penambahan clearing dengan ammonia pada proses finishing dapat meningkatkan ketahanan gosok cat artikel sheep batting glove sesuai dengan SII 0943-84. The problem faced at PT Adi Satria Abadi is the resilience of rubbing wet paint and dry sheep batting glove articles that have not met customer standards. The purpose of this final project is to find out the resistance of finishing paint coatings to sheep batting glove articles. The method used was divided into 2 treatments, namely AB 1 using the addition of ammonia as much as 50 ml / l and for AB 2 without using ammonia. Tests were carried out at the Balai Besar Kulit, Karet, dan Plastik (BBKKP) using Crock meters according to ISO 20433: 2012. The test results showed that AB 1 skin had wet paint rubbing resistance, 4/5 (did not fade), while the paint rubbing resistance was dry with 4 (slight weariness). Results for AB 2 skin have wet paint rubbing resistance of a 4 (little fade), while dry paint rubbing resistance is as large as 3/4 (fade). It can be seen that the addition of clearing with ammonia in the finishing process can improve the resilience of rubbing the article paint sheep batting glove according to SII 0943-84.
