Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah 2 side kulit crust sapi kualitas II dengan luas 32 sqft dan tebal 1,2 mm. Bahan pembantu yang digunakan untuk perbaikan formulasi dalam memunculkan efek polishing dan burnishing adalah eurowax 5239. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode praktik kerja lapangan dengan melakukan trial dan pengujian hasil kulit dilakukan secara Organoleptis. Berdasarkan hasil perbaikan dengan menggunakan eurowax 5239 sebanyak 2% pada tahapan base coat, diperoleh hasil uji organoleptis berupa uji kerataan warna, kelepasan nerf, polish test, burnish test yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 8, dan diperoleh uji fisis berupa uji ketahanan gosok memiliki nilai basah (4), kering (3) serta uji kekuatan rekat cat tutup dengan nilai rata-rata basah (41,6 g), kering (150 g), uji organoleptis dan fisis telah sesuai dengan standard customer dan standar SNI 4901-2009 (kulit bagian atas alas kaki-kulit nappa).&#xD; The final internship at CV Karya Makmur Sejahtera aims to find out and study the quality improvement of the burnishing and polishing effects, factors that affected the effects quality of burnishing and polishing, and the results of organoleptic and physical tests in the finishing process calfskin, especially for burnish nappa articles. The raw material used is 2 side quality II calf crust leather with an area of 32 sqft and 1.2 mm thick. The auxiliary material used to improve the formulation in creating burnishing and polishing effects is eurowax 5239. The method used is field work practice by conducting trial and testing of skin results carried out organoleptically Based on the results of improvement using 2% of Eurowax 5239 at the base coat stage, the result of organoleptic test are evennes colour, release nerf, polish and burnish effects that have an average value 8, wet value of rub fastness is 4 and dry value is 3. The result of adhesive finish for wet average value of 41,6 g and dry test is 150 g.
