PENERAPAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DISERTAI OUTDOOR LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATERI EKOSISTEM DI SMA

  • Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains disertai metode outdoor learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di kelas X SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIA A (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas X MIA B (kelas kontrol), adapun teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara intact group. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil post-test siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 18.76, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 15.53. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa Zhitung < Ztabel (-5.40 < -1.96). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains disertai metode outdoor learning dengan yang diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains. Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains, outdoor learning, ekosistem, hasil belajar Abstract: This study was aimed to know the application science process skill approach accompanied by outdoor learning methods toward study result of ecosystem material in class X of SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat. The form of this research was a quasy experimental design with pattern in nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research are X MIA A as a experiment class and X MIA B as a control class. Intact group was used in the sampling technique. From the result of data analysis, the average score post-test of the student’s result on experiment class is 18.76, whereas on control class is 15.53. Based on the analysis U- Mann Whitney test showed that Zcount < Ztable (-5.40 < -1.96). It can be concluded there is a difference of study result between student’s that taught by science process skill approach accompanied by outdoor learning methods with that taught by science process skill approach.
