- Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan tentang ”peningkatan hasil belajar IPS melalui metode kerja kelompok pada siswa kelas IV SDN 01 Mandor Kecamatan Capkala”. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 75,3 % dalam kategori baik 84 % pada siklus II kategori sangat baik. hasil belajar siswa, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I 61,75 nilai terendah 40 dan tertinggi 90, dengan rincian 2.8 % berada pada kategori baik sekali, 64,8 % cukup dan 32,4 % kurang, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 76,75, nilai terendah 60 dan tertinggi 95 dengan rincian 13,5 % berada pada kategori baik sekali, 48,6 % baik, dan 37,9 % cukup. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian disimpulkan melalui metode kerja kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SDN 01 Mandor Kecamatan Capkala. Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Metode Demonstrasi, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Abstract: The research objective description of "learning outcome IPS through group work method in the fourth grade students of SDN 01 Foreman District of Capkala". The method used is descriptive method with the design of classroom action research. Based on the analysis of research data in the following study student activity increased from the first cycle of 75.3% in both categories 84% in the second cycle is very good category. student learning outcomes, an increase in the average results of the first cycle of learning 61.75 lowest value and the highest 40 90, with details of 2.8% in the excellent category, 64.8% and 32.4% less enough, increased in the second cycle becomes 76.75, the highest value lows of 60 and 95 with the details of 13.5% in the excellent category, 48.6% good, and 37.9% fairly.
