PENGARUH STRATEGI INDEX CARD MATCH PADA MATERI HIDROKARBON TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

- Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi Index Card Match dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan strategi Index Card Match, serta besarnya pengaruh penggunaan strategi Index Card Match terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 9 Pontianak pada materi hidrokarbon. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil angket motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (α = 5%), serta analisis hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,006 (α = 5%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi Index Card Match dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan strategi Index Card Match. Penggunaan strategi Index Card Match pada materi hidrokarbon memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,07% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 9 Pontianak. Kata kunci : index card match, motivasi, hasil belajar Abstract: The aims of this research were to find out the students motivation and learning outcomes’ differences between the students who were taught by Index Card Match strategy and the students who were taught without Index Card Match strategy, and also to find out the influence of Index Card Match strategy toward learning outcomes the tenth grade students of SMAN 9 Pontianak on the hydrocarbon. The method of this research was quasi experiment and the design of research was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample was taken by Purposive Sampling technique. The result of the questionnaire showed that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 (α = 5%), and the analysis of students learning outcomes showed Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) value is 0,006 (α = 5%). This finding showed that were motivation and students learning outcomes’ differences between the students who were taught by Index Card Match strategy and the students who were taught without Index Card Match strategy. The use of Index Card Match strategy on the hydrocarbon gave influence 27,07% to improvement learning outcomes the tenth grade students of SMAN 9 Pontianak.
