- Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran tematik menggunakan media realistik murid kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 08 Segedong Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subyek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 08 Segedong Pontianak yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui media realistik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan media realistik pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 08 Segedong Pontianak dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, diterima. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Pembelajaran Tematik, Media Realistik Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using realistic media in thematic learning at the third grade students in the Elementary School 08 Segedong Pontianak. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school fourth grade students in the Elementary School 08 Segedong Pontianak which consisted of 24 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using realistic media had improved learners' learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application realistic media in thematic learning at the third grade in the Elementary School 08 Segedong Pontianak can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
