- Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Materi Cahaya dan Sifat-Sifatnya dengan menggunakan Metode Inkuiri pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 36 Titi Amang, Kecamatan Tayan Hilir, Kabupaten Sanggau. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan dan setiap siklus terdiri dari Perencanaan, Tindakan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi terhadap tindakan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1). Terdapat peningkatan perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru yaitu siklus I sebesar 2,53 dan siklus II sebesar 3,29 sehingga terjadi peningkatan 0,76. (2). Melaksanakan Pembelajaran dikelas yang dilakukan guru juga meningkat yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 2,46 dan siklus II sebesar 3,29 sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,83. (3). Hasil belajar siswa yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan tes pada siklus I sebesar 60,00 dan siklus II sebesar 90,90 sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 30.9. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Cahaya dan Sifat-Sifatnya, Inkuiri, IPA Abstract: The purpose of research to describe increase the learning of natural science with light material and the characteristics by using inquiry method on graders v elementary school 36 TitiAmang, TayanHilir District, Sanggau regency. The research method that use is a method of research descriptive consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle held twice and every cycle consisting of planning, the act of, observation, and the reflections on the act. The results of research obtained: (1). There is an increase in planning the implementation of learning whose conducted by the Teacher that is the cycle I is 2,53 and cycle II is 3,29, so as to increase 0.76. (2). Implementation of learning in the classroom whose conducted by the teacher increase that is cycle I 2,46 and cycle II is 3,29 so as to increase is 0,83. (3). The result of the study of students whose conducted with creating a test on cycle I is 60, 00 and cycle II is 90, 90 so as to increase 30.9.
