- Abstract:The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of modification of instructional media on learning outcomes discus throw at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 12 G Pontianak. The method used in this study is experimental. Shape design of experiments with the study design used was one group pretest poettest design. The samples in this study were all students of class VIII G as many as 33 students. From the test results are known discus tcount> ttable (15.68> 2.03693) it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an influence. There were changes in the increase in test discus throw by 27%. The results of data analysis showed a significant influence on the modification of instructional media on learning outcomes discus throw. It is based on the results of the test after the discus treated (treatment), where the mean is greater than the mean posttest pretest (31> 24.4), this means that the learning outcomes discus throw at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 12 G Pontianak increased.Keywords: Instructional media, discus throwAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh modifikasi media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar lempar cakrampada siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Bentuk desain eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest poettest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII G sebanyak 33 siswa. Dari hasil tes lempar cakram diketahui thitung> ttabel (15,68 >2,03693) dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh. Terjadi perubahan peningkatan pada tes lempar cakram sebesar 27%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada modifikasi media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar lempar cakram. Hal ini berdasarkan dari hasil tes lempar cakram setelah diberi perlakuan (treatment), dimana mean posttest lebih besar dari mean pretest (31 > 24,4), hal ini berarti bahwa hasil belajar lempar cakram pada siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak mengalami peningkatan.Kata kunci: media piring plastik, lempar cakram
