- The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on social change in the Teluk Melano Village, Kayong Utara Regency. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews or in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The analysis in this study is presented descriptively using four informants. The results of this study indicate that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a positive and negative impact on social change in the community in Teluk Melano Village, North Kayong Regency. This has been proven that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a positive impact, namely increasing knowledge of technology, people spending more time with family activities at home, people's clean lifestyles have also increased such as frequently washing hands, using masks when traveling, and always keep your distance in public places. While the negative impact is a reduction in social interaction, social communication, and a decrease in people's economic income.
