PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMK MENGGUNAKAN LEMBAR KERJA KUMON PADA MATERI HUKUM II NEWTON

  • Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Kumon worksheets to increase student learning outcomes in Newton II Law materials among grade X SMK Almadani Pontianakacademic year 2012/2013. Using intact group method, students from the class XA (33 students) was chosen to participate in the one group pretest-posttest experimental design. Instrument of collecting data in the form of four essay questions, each of which represent about one concept.It is noted that the reliability of pre-test was 0,76 (high). Analysis of data test obtained pretest scores was 18,97 (SD = 2,12), posttest scores was 28,94 (SD = 2,91) and gain was9,58 (SD = 1,59). T-test results indicated that learning to use the Kumon worksheetssignificanlyimprovestudents learning outcomes(thitung = 5,84; df = 32; a = 5%).The research is expected to be implemented by teachers in the teaching, so that teachers become more varied in managing teaching. Keywords: Learning Outcomes,Kumon Worksheets Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaanlembarkerjaKumon terhadap peningkatanhasilbelajarsiswapadamateriHukum II Newton di kelas X SMKAlmadani Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. BentukpenelitianberupaPre-Experimental Design denganrancanganone group pretest-posttest design.Partisipan ditentukanmelaluiteknikintact groupkelasXA yang berjumlah 33 siswa.Alat pengumpul data berupa 4 buah soal tes esai yang masing-masing soal mewakili 1 konsep.Reliabilitas ujicoba soal sebesar 0,76 (tinggi). Hasil analisis data tes diperoleh skor pre-test sebesar 18,97 (SD = 2,12), skor post-test 28,94 (SD = 2,91) dan gain sebesar 9,58(SD = 1,59). Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan lembar kerja Kumon secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (thitung = 5,84; df = 32; a = 5%). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran, sehingga guru menjadi lebih variatif dalam mengelola pengajaran. Kata kunci: HasilBelajar, LembarKerjaKumon
