- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of instructional media on learning outcomes of a tennis ball shot put orthodox style class VII SMP 2 Capkala. The method used in this study is experimental. Shape design of experiments with the study design used was one group pretest posttest design. The samples in this study were all students of class VII as many as 32 students. From the test results are known tcount shot put> t table (41.31> 2.03951) it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means there is an influence. There were changes in the increase in test unorthodox style shot put at 77%. The results of data analysis showed a significant difference in the learning media on learning outcomes of a tennis ball shot put orthodox style. It is based on the results of the test shot put after a given treatment (treatment), where the mean is greater than the mean posttest pretest (37.66> 21.3), this means that the learning outcomes in the shot put orthodox style class VII SMP 2 Capkala has increased. Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran bola tenis terhadap hasil belajar tolak peluru gaya ortodoks siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Capkala. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Bentuk desain eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII sebanyak 32 siswa. Dari hasil tes tolak peluru diketahui thitung> ttabel (41,31 >2,03951) dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh. Terjadi perubahan peningkatan pada tes tolak peluru gaya ortodok sebesar 77%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada media pembelajaran bola tenis terhadap hasil belajar tolak peluru gaya ortodok. Hal ini berdasarkan dari hasil tes tolak peluru setelah diberi perlakuan (treatment), dimana mean posttest lebih besar dari mean pretest (37,66 > 21,3), hal ini berarti bahwa hasil belajar tolak peluru gaya ortodoks pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Capkala mengalami peningkatan.
