- ABSTRACTThis study aimed to describe the terminology of Dayak Kendawangan traditional medication, describe a lexical and cultural meaning, and produce learning text materials about the traditional medication at the Senior High Shcool (SMA) level. The form of research used is qualitative with descriptive method. The data were the words from respondents that related to clause and phrase used in Dayak Kendawangan traditional medication. Data collection techniques used were interviews, one-to-one interviews, recording audio, note-taking techniques, and taking notes techniques. The result shows that there were 69 terminologies which clarified as clauses and phrases. In Dayak Kendawangan traditional medication, there were 42 data of medium terminology and 27 data of medicament terminology. There are 23 data classified as the from of monomorphemic and 46 data classified as phrases. There are 69 data that belong to lexical meaning and 69 data that belong to cultural meaning of terminology of Dayak Kendawangan traditional medication lexical meaning. This research can produce learning text materials about the traditional medication at the Senior High Shcool (SMA) level and text of the observation results of traditional medicine of the Dayak Kendawangan tribe.Keywords: Traditional Medication, Lexical Meaning, Cultural Meaning, Procession.
