Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas, dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian guru, dan peserta didik kelas V SDN 12 Gontang yang berjumlah 26 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan dari observasi dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil rata-rata nilai siswa 61,9 dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata nilai siswa 72,6. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, secara umum penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 12 Gontang, Kabupaten Landak. Dengan demikian metode demonstrasi dapat digunakan saat proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Metode Demonstrasi, Pembelajaran IPA Abstract: The purpose of this study is an attempt to improve student learning outcomes using a method demonstration on learning of Natural Sciences at SDN 12 Gontang class, Landak District. This research method is descriptive, form action research, and collaborative nature of the research . Research subject teachers, and fifth grade students of SDN 12 Gontang totaling 26 people. The technique used in this study is the technique of direct observation and data collection tool used was observation. The results based on the observations by using the method of demonstration in the Natural Sciences learning can improve learning outcomes. Values obtained in the first cycle on average of 61,7 student inthe second cycle and the averages values obtained 72,6 students. Based on these descriptions, in general use demonstration method can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 12 Gontang, Porcupine District, Thus the demonstration method can be used during the learning process of Natural Sciences to improve learning outcomes.
