  • AbstrackThe purpose of this research is to describe the problem. The benefit of the research is to add insight into the form of illocutionary speech acts. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection of this research was carried out using the listening technique. The data is seen with the help of a recording device or mobile phone and a recording device. Sources of data used in this study are traders and buyers at the UKA Jeruju Morning Market, Pontianak City. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation techniques, listening techniques, and recording techniques. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the illocutionary speech act. The types of illocutionary speech acts in the study consisted of 31 assertive illocutions including informing speech, refusing speech, ,; 26 directive illocutions include bidding, asking, asking, offering, 5 commissive illocutions include promising speeches, and promised speeches; 18 expressive illocutions include thanking utterances, praising utterances,; 4 declarative illocutions include agreeing to utterances and 4 declarative illocutions include 4 agree on utterances. Then the implementation planning is related to the negotiating text for class X odd semester with KD 3.11 and 4.11.Keywords: Illocutionary Speech Acts, Interaction of Uka Jeruju Morning Market Pontianak City, Pragmatic
