- AbstractThis study aims (1) to examine economic resistance carried out by families during thecovid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency (2) toassess family food security during the covid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, SejangkungDistrict, Sambas Regency (3 ) To examine the family's efforts to overcome the financialcrisis during the covid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, SambasRegency. The research method used is a qualitative research type using a focused interviewapproach. The source of data in this study was obtained by in-depth direct interviewswithinformants. The results of this study indicate (1) Economic Resistance that occurs in thefamily of Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency, which has a superiorproduct, namely Lada Batu Layar, does not use products from outside and prefers to useits own products for consumption. ; (2) Food Security carried out by families in SendoyanVillage, Sejangkung sub-district, by participating in developing and marketing superiorproducts through socialization activities on face book media, Instagram, exhibitions, exposin various regions; (3) Family Efforts to Overcome the Financial Crisis in SendoyanVillage, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency, through increasing the value of pepperproduction from seed to powder form so that income increases and prices can be increased.Keywords: Economic resistance, food security, financial crisis
