This study uses quantitative methods, the population in this study is the entire state civil apparatus in the Mempawah District Financial and Asset Management Agency with a sample of 48 people using the total sample method or census. The data analysis tools used are multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient. The f test and the t test were conducted with the help of SPSS version 20 software. The result of a double linear regression equation shows the equation Y= 0,086 + 0,900X1 + 0,080X2. The correlation coefficient result show an R value of 0,972 which indicates a very strong correlation between the workload variable and compensation for job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination or R square is 0,946 meaning that workload and compensation affect job satisfaction by 94.6% and the remaining 5,4% is influenced or explained by other variables not included in study. Simultaneous test result (test f) show a calculated f value of 391,160 > f table 3,20. H0 was rejected and Ha accepted where simultaneous workload and compensation had a significant effect on job satisfaction. While the partial test (test t) showed partial workload had a significant effect on job satisfaction with t count 18,087>t table 1,678 with each X1 – t = 18,087 – 1,678 = 16,409 and X2 – 5 = 2,259 -1,678 = 0,581.Keywords : Workload, Compensation, Job Satisfaction
