- AbstractThe purpose in this research is to know the effect of self-confidence on economic learning achievement at SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap with the following sub problems (1) How is the confidence of students in SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap? (2) How is the students economic learning achievement at SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap? (3) Is there an effect of self-confidence on the achievement of learning economics in students at SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap? This research used associative research methods. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication and documentary/biblical techniques. Data collection tools is questionnaires. The results showed that (1) self-confidence in class X IIS were in high criteria with a percentage of 74.26%. The percentage shows that students feel confident in learning. (2) the overall learning achievement of class X IIS is in good criteria with an average test score is 85 or in the good category (3) there is an effect of self-confidence on learning achievement, this can be seen from the value of correlation which is equal to 0.485. Based on simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS ver.23, the value of correlation is 0.485. Therefore, the results obtained show that the effect of self-confidence on the economic learning achievement of students at SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap is categorized as high.Keyword: Self Confident, Study Archievement
