- AbstractThe research aims to obtain information about factors that affect the low learning outcomes of students on the subject of history in class X Mujahidin High School Pontianak. This research used qualitative methods with a descriptive form. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there are two factors which influence the low learning outcomes, (1) Internally, in terms of motivation student learning itself, some students of class X feeling bored and sleepy in class, so that the material given by the teacher to student is not accepted. From the cognitive realm of the students themselves, there are some students who still don’t understand the material presented, especially history learning materials. (2) Externally, one of the factors that influence the development of student learning is parents. From a social point of view, it is also known that the school doesn’t have a community environment around the school. In addition, there are some students come from outside the city of Pontianak and live with their families in Pontianak, so that the learning process outside of school isn’t considered properly.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Students, History learning.
