- AbstractThe research was to find out the role of rubber farmer mother as a facilitator for childeducation, the role of the mother as the beneficiary to provide child education, and the roleof the mother as a guide to provide child education in Tempatan village Sebawi sub-districtSambas regency Kalimantan Barat province. The study was included in qualitativedescriptive research. It has been intended to investigate a situation as it is based on datacollected. Data collection was done with observation techniques, interviews anddocumentations. The data sources used were primary data sources and secondary data inqualitative research where the main data sources in qualitative research were words andactions, for the additional data used such as documents and so forth. Data processing andanalysis tehniques was done through the three stages of (1) Data reduction, (2) Datapresentation and, (3) Deducation. The results of this study suggest that the role of motherswho work as rubb farmers has a major impact on child education, from scouting facilities tochildren, offering assistance to children, and directing children to study.Keywords: the mother’s role, the rubber farmer, support education
