- Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun ruang sisi datar yang ditinjau dari kemampuan dasar matematika siswa di Kelas IX SMP Bumi Khatulistiwa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 21 siswa kelas IX SMP Bumi Khatulistiwa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan dasar matematikanya yaitu untuk siswa yang berada di kelompok atas kemampuan koneksi siswa tergolong tinggi (86%), siswa yang berada di kelompok tengah kemampuan koneksi siswa tergolong sedang (74%), dan siswa yang berada di kelompok bawah kemampuan koneksi matematisnya tergolong sangat rendah (32%). Kata kunci : Koneksi Matematis, Tingkat Kemampuan Dasar Abstract: This research to know the ability of student's mathematical connections in resolving the matter of flat-sided matherial solides a basic mathematical ability of students in grade IX SMP Bumi Khatulistiwa. The research method used is descriptive research with the form used is the case study. The research sample is 21 students of class IX SMP Bumi Khatulistiwa. Results of the analysis of the data shows that the ability of student's mathematical connections in accordance with the level of basic skills. The ability for the students in the group over the ability of the student connections is high (86%), students who are in the middle group of students classified connection abilities are (74%), and students who were in the bottom ability group connection strings is very low (32%).
