- AbstractIndonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance is a traditional Malay dance developed in Bekut Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency, West Borneo around 1957. Presentation of Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance are envolve over time.Research problem, What is the function Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance in the Bekut Village?. How are the study planing with implementation of the result for cultural arts subjects in the High School?. The purpose of this study are to analyze the primary function and development function of Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance and implementation of the result for cultural arts subject study planning in the High School. This research using descriptive methods with qualitative research and using approach of dance anthropology. The technique of collecting data using observation and interviews with informants, namely Aki Tamsi bin Kuncel, Mr. Gumanto, S.Pd an Rohim. Analysis techniques are analysis during data collection and analysis after data collection. Based on the result, it can be concluded as follows. Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance at the beginning of creation, it was traditional Malay art which included dance as an educational in the medium to promote Islamic teachings. Along with development of dance presentation, until now it has development of function as an educational medium, as entertainment and as conventional performance art. The implementation of the result is used in the cultural arts subject study planing for dance criticism subject matter in the High School. Keywords:Rope Playing Method, Dance Moves, Exploration
