- AbstractBasic guidance and counseling services are assistance services to students. The assistance can be done individually or in groups to foster the independence of students in the development of personal, social, learning skills and career planning. In the implementation of basic services comprehensive guidance and counseling covers the implementation of classical services, orientation services, information services, group guidance services, and application instrumentation services. As well as inhibiting factors in carrying out services and efforts made in overcoming obstacles. Therefore, researchers want to know the implementation of basic services of comprehensive guidance and counseling. The research problem is "how is the implementation of basic guidance and comprehensive counseling services at Pontianak State Middle School 3". The purpose of the study was to find out about the implementation of basic services of comprehensive guidance and counseling at Pontianak State Junior High School 3. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach in the form of survey research. The study sample was 67 students and 1 teacher guidance and counseling. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication and direct communication in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique is percentage. Overall, the implementation of a comprehensive basic guidance and counseling service at Pontianak State Junior High School 3 was found to be 67% good enough. The implementation of classical guidance services was obtained 69% in the good category. The orientation service was obtained by 63%, the category was quite good, the implementation of information services was 69% good. The implementation of group guidance services was obtained 69% in the good category. The implementation of instrumentation application services obtained 49.17% in the less category.
