  • AbstractThe role of physical education learning models is very strategic in an effort to increase learning that is meaningful, active, and independent. Therefore strengthening the learning model in physical education is a necessity, given that there are still learning outcomes that have not reached the minimum standards. Lack of student participation in learning, learning planning is still not optimal, and the ineffectiveness of the use of learning methods and models that are appropriate to the conditions at that time. The purpose of this study was to find out the impact of the application of cooperative learning models of the type of game tournament team on the results of learning underwater passing volleyball at SMAN 10 PONTIANAK. The method in this research is descriptive research method. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were 66.85%, the results of students in the second cycle were 83.02%. Based on the results in cycle 1 and cycle 2, it can be concluded that students experience an increase in learning with cooperative learning methods of the type of game tournament team.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type Teams Games Tournament, Lower Voly Passing Ball, Game
