- AbstractThe formulation of the problem in this study was how large the Application of Model Cooperative Learning type Group Investigation learning outcomes towards Service Lob Badminton on the learners of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak Class VIII F. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students learning outcomes in learning penjas. This research was conducted by using the method of Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in 2 cycles with 2 of the meeting. The subject of research was students class VIII F SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak totaling 40 students. this study used a Learning Model Cooperative Learning type Group Investigation. From the results of the data analysis it is known that, student learning outcomes before treatment was 19 students (47,5%) completed studying and 21 students (52,5%) have not been thoroughly studied. In the first cycle of mastery learning reaches 65% of the 26 students have been thoroughly studied and 14 students (35%) has not been thoroughly studied. In the second cycle mastery learning accounting for 82.5% of 33 students have been thoroughly studied and 7 students (17,5%) did not complete.
