- AbstractThe implementation of group guidance services can work well if students have a good perception to take part in group guidance services in schools. The general research objective is to describe and obtain information about the Perception of Students Against Guidance Services for Class IX Class 8 SMP Negeri Pontianak Academic Year 2018-1919. The population in this study was 166 students and the sample was 47 students in the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using data analysis techniques using percentage formulas and product moment correlations. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that: (1) the perceptions of students in the formation of group guidance services for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak are classified as "good", (2) the perceptions of students in the transition stage of group guidance services for students of class IX of State Junior High School 8 pontianak were classified as "good", (3) the perceptions of students in the stage of guidance activities for group IX students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak were classified as "good", (4) the perceptions of students in the termination stage of group guidance services for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. classified as "good".
