- Abstrak: Pengaruh Metode Diskusi Kelompok terhadap Aktivitas Pembelajaran IPS di Kelas III SDN 19 Mempawah Hilir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam hal aktivitas fisik, mental, dan emosional dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 19 Mempawah Hilir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah survei kelembagaan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada indikator (aktivitas fisik, mental, dan emosional) dalam pembelajaran IPS. Persentase hasil pengamatan pada indikator aktivitas fisik mencapai 41,6% (siklus I), meningkat menjadi 92% (siklus II). Pada indikator aktivitas mental mencapai 54,2% (siklus I), meningkat menjadi 83% (siklus II). Pada indikator aktivitas emosional mencapai 54,2% (siklus I), meningkat menjadi 79% (siklus II). Dengan demikian metode diskusi kelompok memberi pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 19 Mempawah Hilir. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, metode diskusi kelompok, aktivitas pembelajaran. Abstract: The Influence of Method Focus Group on Social Learning Activities in Class III SDN 19 Mempawah Downstream. The purpose of this study is to increase the activity of students in learning, especially in terms of physical activity, mental, emotional and social studies learning using group discussion in class III 19 Mempawah Lower Elementary School. The method used in this research is descriptive method of research is a form kelembagaan.Be based survey results that an increase in the student activity indicators (physical activity, mental, and emotional) in social studies learning. Percentage of observations in physical activity indicator reached 41.6% (first cycle), increased to 92% (cycle II). On indicators of mental activity reached 54.2% (first cycle), increased to 83% (cycle II). On indicators of emotional activity reached 54.2% (first cycle), increased to 79% (cycle II). Thus the group discussion method gives a high impact on the activities of students in the third grade social studies learning in SDN 19 Mempawah Downstream.
