- AbstractThe purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject matter of Dayak musical by using audio visual media. This research used descriptive methods, with the qualitative approach. The research method applied is a classroom action research with the cycle of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of this research is class X especially class X IPS2 of SMAN 1 Sejangkung, Sambas district. Data collecting that are applied in this research are the observation sheet, test, and documentation. Based on the results, using audio visual media can improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject matter of Dayak musical. It can be seen from the results test obtained by the students in cycle 1 and cycle 2. After the action is done in cycle 1 there is an increase in the average value that was 69.8. after that, the next processed with action in cycle 2, the increase is obtained that was 94.2. Keywords: Audio Visual Media, Dayak Musical Instrument.
