- AbstractThis research is focused on the semantic field, with the aim to describe the vocabulary of Dayak Kanayatn customary clothing in the language of Dayak Kanayatn dialect Ahe as an effort to preserve and inventory the vocabulary used in Dayak Kanayatn customary clothing based on the classification of usage on the limbs, the use of traditional weapon, and the use of motif. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research form and ethnolinguistic approach. Data source in this research is Dayak Kanayatn dialect Ahe which was told by informants in the village Sekabuk, Sadaniang District. The data used in this study is a word or phrase in traditional clothes in the language of Dayak Kanayatn dialect Ahe. Technique of data collection is technique of fishing rods, advanced skill techniques, note techniques, and recording techniques. Data analysis techniques such as classification, analyzing, descripting, summarizing, and reporting on research results. Based on data analysis, it was found that in the Dayak language Kanayatn Dialect Ahe there are 47 vocabulary. The vocabulary of traditional clothes based on the use of limbs: 32 data, based on the use of traditional weapons: 9 data, and use of motives: 6 data.
