PENGARUH PREDICT-OBSERVE-EXPLAIN TERHADAP MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI KELARUTAN DAN HASIL KALI KELARUTAN

- Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan minat dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional dan menentukan besarnya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) terhadap hasil belajar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar dan minat siswa berbeda antara kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) dengan kelas kontrol yang diajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Model pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) memberikan pengaruh sedang sebesar 25,18% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Predict-Observe-Explain, Minat, Hasil Belajar, Kelarutan dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine whether there was a significant difference between learning outcomes and interest of students taught by Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) and conventional model and to determine the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model toward learning outcomes. The study was conducted using Equivalent Control Group Design. The result showed that there was a significant difference between learning outcomes and interest of students. Therefore students learning outcomes and interest between experimental class taught by Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) and control class taught by conventional model were difference. Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model gave a medium effect of 25,18% on improving students learning outcomes.
