REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI PADA PERPINDAHAN KALOR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL DIRECT INSTRUCTION BERBANTUAN MEDIA ANIMASI DI MAN

  • Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model direct instruction berbantuan media animasi dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi perpindahan kalor di MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI IPA yang terdiri dari 25 orang yang dipilih secara sampel jenuh. Alat pengumpul data berupa 6 soal pilihan ganda dengan 3 alternatif jawaban disertai alasan terbuka. Rata-rata persentase jumlah miskonsepsi siswa sebelum remediasi sebesar 94,67% dan sesudah remediasi sebesar 39,33%. Berdasarkan uji McNemar, besar perubahan konsepsi siswa diperoleh diperoleh X2hitung (11,16) > X2tabel (3,84) untuk dk = 1 dan α = 5%, maka terjadi perubahan konsepsi siswa yang signifikan setelah diberikan remediasi. Nilai perhitungan proporsi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,56 tergolong sedang, maka model direct instruction berbantuan media animasi efektif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa. Abstrack: The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of using the direct instruction model assisted by media animation on remedied students’ misconception about heat transfer subject of class X in MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The form of this research is pre-experimental by one-group pre-test-post test design. The sample of this research is 25 students in XI IPA class which are chosen by random sampling in technic of intact group. The tool for collecting data is 7 questions the form of multiple choice with the reasioning open. The mean percentage of students misconceptions before remediation by 94,67% and amounted to 39,33% after remediation. Based on McNemar test, a big change students conseptions obtained χ2hitung (11,16) ˃ χ2tabel (3,841) for dk = 1 and α = 5%, then there is a significant change in the students conceptions after being given remediation. The Proporsition value is 0,56 categorized as medium, then direct instruction model effective in the assisted media animation in remedied students’ misconceptions.
