- Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa menggunakan model learning tipe CIRC. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian bersifat kolaboratif. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V SDN 01 Pontianak Selatan dengan subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 32 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa pada siklus I sampai siklus II secara berurutan yaitu 2,51 dan 3,55. Penilaian keterampilan menulis karangan narasi seperti kesesuaian judul dengan isi karangan yaitu 70,83% dan 83,33%, isi yang relevan 69,79% dan 79,16%, organisasi isi 80,20% dan 85,41%, pilihan kata (diksi) 53,54% dan 68,75%, tanda baca dan ejaan 57,29% dan 61,45%. Skor menulis karangan narasi siswa mulai dari siklus I dan siklus II secara berurutan yaitu 68,30 dan 75,58. Dengan demikian, penelitian menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe CIRC pada pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi dapat meningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis karangan narasi. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Karangan Narasi, Model Cooperative Learning Tipe CIRC Abstract: The purpuse of the research is to improve the writing skills of students using a narrative essay-type learning model of CIRC. The method used descriptively. Form of is research classroom action research. Research is collaborative. The study was conducted in class in class V SDN 01 South Pontianak with research subjects are students of class V which amounted to 32 people. The results showed a narrative essay writing skills of students in the first cycle to the second cycle in sequence, namely 2,51 and 3,55. Narrative essay writing skills assessments such as the suitability of the title with a table of contents that is 70,83% and 83,33%, relevant content 69,79% and 79,16%, 80,20% the content organization and 85,41%, the choice of words (diction) 53,54% and 68,75%, punctuation and spelling 57,29% and 61,45%. Narrative essay writing scores of student from the firs cycle and the second cycle in sequence, namely 68,30 and 75,58. Thus, studies using cooperative learning medel of the type of CIRC on narrative essay writing learning can improve students skill in writing narrative essay.
