- Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: pendeskripsian (1) proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) materi yang disampaikan, (3) metode yang digunakan, (4) proses penilaian, dan (5) hasil belajar mengidentifikasi unsur intrinsik cerpen. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur intrinsik cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung, teknik tes, dan teknik dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data adalah pedoman observasi, tes tertulis, dan kamera. Teknik analisis data adalah memeriksa data yang diperoleh dan diklasifikasikan, data disajikan dan dianalisis berdasarkan teori, kemudian data disimpulkan berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang guru laksanakan sudah baik, materi yang disampaikan oleh guru yaitu tentang, tema, alur, penokohan, latar, amanat, dan sudut pandang, metode yang guru gunakan yaitu diskusi kelompok, penilaian hasil belajar siswa berupa tugas kelompok, hasil belajar sudah baik karena mencapai KKM yang guru yaitu 75. Kata kunci: unsur intrinsik cerpen, kelas XI, SMA 2. Abstract: The purpose of this study is: description (1) The implementation process of learning, (2) the material presented, (3) the method used, (4) the assessment process, and (5) learning outcomes identify the intrinsic elements of short stories. This study theoretically and practically. The method in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The data in this study are learning to identify the intrinsic elements of stories in class XI student of SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. The data source for teachers and students. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, test engineering, and technical documentation. Data collection tool is the observation guide, written tests, and cameras. The data analysis technique is to check the data obtained and classified, data is presented and analyzed based on the theory, then the data is inferred based on evidence in the field. Based on the results of this study concluded that in the implementation process of learning that teachers carry out has been good, the material presented by the teacher is on, theme, plot, characterization, setting, mandate, and viewpoints, methods that teachers use that group discussion, assessment of student learning outcomes the form of the task group, learning outcomes have been good for the teacher reached KKM is 75.
