- Abstrak: Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif teknik berkirim salam dan soal pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V SDN 16 Pontianak Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Bentuk tindakan kelas bersifat kolaboratif. Teknik penelitian yaitu observasi langsung berupa lembar observasi guru dan siswa, teknik pengukuran berupa instrumen tes. Teknik penyajian data berupa tabel dan analisis. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, pada siklus I dengan rata-rata skor 3,17. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi rata-rata skor 3,87. Terdapat peningkatan sebesar 0,70. Sedangkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I dengan rata-rata skor 3,36. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi rata-rata skor 3,96. Terdapat peningkatan sebesar 0,60. Hasil rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 31,19 % ke siklus II sebesar 55,16 % terdapat peningkatan sebesar 23,97 %. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 46,45, dan pada siklus II menjadi 97,10. Ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 50,65. Kata Kunci : Teknik Berkirim Salam dan Soal Abstract: The general purpose of this research is to describe the increased activity and student learning outcomes using the cooperative model technique exchanging greetings and learning about the Social Sciences in class V at SDN 16 Pontianak Timur. This research uses descriptive method. Collborative form of class action The research techniques such as direct observation of teacher and student observation sheets, measurement techniques such as test instruments. Techniques of data presentation in the form of tables and analysis. This research was conducted by 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 1 meetings. The results obtained are teachers in implementing the learning ability, in the first cycle with an average score of 3.17. In the second cycle increased to an average score of 3.87. There is an increase of 0.70. While the ability of teachers to carry out teaching in the first cycle with an average score of 3.36. In the second cycle increased to an average score of 3.96. There is an increase of 0.60. The average yield learning activities of students in the first cycle of 31.19% to 55.16% for the second cycle there is an increase of 23.97%.
