MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MAN MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN TPS DILENGKAPI BOOKLET MATERI REDUKSI-OKSIDASI

  • Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan partisipasi aktif siswa dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dilengkapi dengan media booklet pada materi reaksi redoks (reduksi-oksidasi). Kelas yang akan diberikan perlakuan yaitu kelas X MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak Tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Pemilihan kelas didasarkan pada hasil observasi dan wawancara guru, partisipasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilakukan 2 siklus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari lembar observasi partisipasi siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dan soal test. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan partisipasi siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Secara berturut-turut rata-rata persentase partisipasi pada siklus I dan II yaitu siklus I sebesar 64,6% dan siklus II sebesar 76,8% dengan indikator keberhasilan ≥ 49%. Persentase rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II yaitu 42,3% dan 76,9% dengan indikator keberhasilan ≥75%. Kata kunci: Partisipasi Aktif Siswa, Think Pair Share, Booklet, Redoks, Hasil Belajar Abstract : This research were aimed to improve active participation and learning outcomes of student using Think Pair Share (TPS) equipped with a booklet media on redox reactions material. The treatment was given to X grade MIA of MAN 2 Filial Pontianak in the academic year of 2015/2016. The class was selected by classroom observation, teacher interviews, students participation, and the low of learning outcomes of the students. The research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and was conducted in two cycles. The data were collected by observation sheets of students participation and learning activities, and test. The results indicated that there are improvement of students participation and students learning outcomes in 1st cycle and 2nd cycle. Respectively, the average percentage of participation in 1st cycle and 2nd cycle are 64.6% and 76.8% with ≥ 49% indicator of achievement. The average percentage of students learning outcomes in 1st cycle and 2nd cycle are 42.3% and 76.9% with ≥75% indicator of achievement.
