PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL WORD SQUARE PEMBELAJARAN IPS PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

  • Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran word square dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di kelas VB Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak IV siklus dan terjadi peningkatan setiap siklusnya dengan hasil yang diperoleh adalah (a) kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3.49, siklus II 4, siklus III 3.82, dan siklus IV 3.87, (b) kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I 3.01, siklus II 3.9, siklus III 3.82, dan siklus IV 3.87, dan (c) hasil belajar siswa siklus I 44.82%, siklus II 79.31%, siklus III 75.86% dan siklus IV 82.14%. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar siswa, model word square Abstract: The purpose of this research generally to describe improving student learning outcomes using word square model in teaching social sciences in the class VB State Elementary School 03 Pontianak City. The method used is descriptive method with the type of classroom action research. This research was conducted as IV cycles and an increase in each cycle with the results obtained are (a) the ability of teachers to design learning from the first cycle is 3.49, Second cycle is 4, third cycle is 3.82, and last cycle is 3.87, (b) the ability of teachers to implement the learning from the first cycle is 3.01, second cycle is 3.9, third cycle is 3.82 and fourth cycle is 3.87, and (c) the results of student learning first cycle is 44.82%, the second cycle is 79.31%, the third cycle is 75.86% and the fourth cycle is 82.14%.
