- Abstrak: Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Surat Menggunakan Pendekatan Konstekstual Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 13 Sentimok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis surat menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa kelas IV SDN 13 Sentimok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah berbentuk kualitatif. Pada siklus I tingkat keberhasilan rata-rata adalah 48,97% dan pada siklus II tingkat keberhasilan meningkat menjadi 84,69%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual meningkatkan keterampilan menulis surat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 13 Sentimok. Kata kunci: Peningkatan, Keterampilan Menulis Surat, Pendekatan Kontekstual Abstract: Improved Letter Writing Skills Using the contextual approach to Fourth Grade Students of SDN 13 Sentimok. This study aims to determine the skill of writing a letter using a contextual approach to the fourth grade students of SDN 13 Sentimok. This research is action research (Classroom Action Research) and research method used is descriptive method is a form of qualitative research forms. In the first cycle the average success rate was 48.97% and the second cycle success rate increased to 84.69%. This suggests that learning Indonesian contextual approach to improving writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN 13 Sentimok. Keywords: Improvement, Letter Writing Skills, Contextual Approach
