- Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana starategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu dan penerapan kurikulum di MTs Negeri Sintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Starategi yang ditempuh oleh kepala Madrasah Negeri Sintang untuk meningkatkan mutu dan penerapan kurikulum madrasah antara lain : (1) Memberikan arahan tentang pemahaman mutu dan penerapan kurikulum yang berorientasi pada peningkatan dan perubahan. (2) kebijakan dalam menetapkan perencanaan pengelolaan madrasah dan mengoptimalkan hubungan masyarakat dan dewan guru yang meliputi kegiatan silaturahmi rutin. (3) Mengefektifkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sebagai nilai jual lembaga adapun kegiatan tersebut Kata Kunci : Strategi, Mutu dan Penerapan Kurikulum Abstract : Both headmaster is one component that plays an important role in improving the quality of education and quality-oriented sense of community among teachers. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. The data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Indications about the quality of the madrasah in MTs Sintang include (1) the development of the curriculum is done with a mix of approaches humannistik (learner-based curriculum) and the inquiry approach (problem-based curriculum) is supported by the local curriculum that is based on community needs. (2) humanistic approach or approaches that learner-centered learning is done with the goal of achieving a more holistic learning leads to life skills (live skills). Starategi taken by the heads of State Madrasah Sintang to improve the quality of Madrasah, among others: (1) Provide direction on understanding the quality of the madrasah eraglobalisasi future, oriented to the improvement and change. (2) policies and optimize the management and board of public relations and teacher covering routine gathering activities. (3) Making extracurricular activities as a selling point as for the agency include the following Keywords : Strategy, Quality and Curriculum Implementation. .
