AKTIVITAS BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

- Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kelemahan guru menata pembelajaran dan rendahnya aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Matematika dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi menggunakan media uang kertas. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, menggunakan metode deskriptif bersifat kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 7 Ujung Bayur. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa : skor kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I adalah 3,31, siklus II adalah 3,53 dan siklus III 3,61. Skor kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus I adalah 3,36, siklus II adalah 3,50 dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 3,57. Selain itu skor rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik hasilnya sbb.: pada kondisi awal 37,65 %, siklus I adalah 53,70 %, siklus II adalah 71,64 % dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 90,12 %. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi menggunakan media uang kertas dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan kemampuan guru merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Media Uang Kertas, Aktivitas Belajar Abstract : The purpose of this research is to improve the weaknesses of teacher organize learning and low activity of learners in the learning of mathematics by applying the method of demonstration using the medium of paper money. This research is a classroom action research, using collaborative-descriptive method that implemented in three cycles. The subjects were teacher and students of grade IV SDN 7 Ujung Bayur. Data collected include: the ability of teacher planned learning, scores in the first cycle was 3.31, the second cycle was 3.53 and 3.61 the third cycle. Scores ability of teacher to implement learning cycle I was 3.36, the second cycle was 3.50 and the third cycle increased to 3.57. In addition an average scores of activity of learners results are as follows : 37.65% on the initial conditions, the first cycle was 53.70%, the second cycle was 71.64% and the third cycle increased to 90.12%. This proves that the application of the method of demonstration using the medium of paper money can enhance the activity of the students and the teacher's ability to plan and implement learning.
