- Abstrak: Judul penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode inquiri untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pelaik Keruap. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan metode inquiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pelaik Keruap.Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif.Subjek penelitian adalah 27 perserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pelaik Keruap yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran IPA sehingga nilai yang diperoleh sangat rendah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan metode inquiri dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA, setiap subjek penelitian mendapat nilai diatas standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal 60). Pada siklus I sebesar 55 di kategorikan sedang dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 68 termasuk kategori baik. Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar, Metode Inkuiry, IPA Abstract: The title of this research is the use of the inquiry method for improving student learning outcomes in subjects of Natural Sciences fourth grade students of State Elementary School 16 Pelaik Keruap. The study aims to determine how to use the inquiry method in improving learning outcomes Natural Sciences fourth grade students of State Elementary School 16 Pelaik Keruap.Metode research used is deskriptif.Subjek study participants were 27 fourth grade students of State Elementary School 16 Pelaik Keruap who have difficulty in Natural Sciences learning so that the value obtained is very low. The result showed that after application of the inquiry method of learning of Natural Sciences to improve learning outcomes Natural Sciences, each of the study subjects scored above the standard minimum completeness criteria 60).
