EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PAIR-CHECKS TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN AKUNTANSI DI SMKN

- Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Pair-Checks siswa pada mata akuntansi di kelas X jurusan akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian adalah quasy experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control design. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X AK2 dan X AK3 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 72 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penerapan model pembelajaran Pair-Checks di kelas eksperimen berjalan dengan baik. Perbandingan hasil post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol cukup signifikan. Siswa di kelas ekperimen memperoleh nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 50 dengan, dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 87,09. Sedangkan di kelas kontrol nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 60, dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 81,89. Adapun besar effect sizenya sebesar 0,513 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Pair-Checks efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Kata Kunci : Pair-Checks, Konvensional, Keterampilan Abstract: The study aims to identify skill of accounting by using the Pair-Check type cooperative model in class X AK Vocational High School 1. Research Method that’s been used is experiment research. And its forms is quasy experimental design with post-test only control design as research structure. The sample on this research is 72 students in class X AK2 and X AK3. The comparison result of post test’s score in experiment class and control class is different significantly. Highest score in experiment class is 100, the lowest score is 60, and the average score of experiment class is 87,09. While the highest score in control class is 100, the lowest is 60, and the average score of control class is 81,89. The amount of size effect is 0,513 with medium category. This data shows that the result of study with Pair-Checks model is effective and better than conventional method to increase skill of students. Keywords: Pair-Checks, Conventional, Skill
